Today's work includes two new still life paintings, one from my popular Still Life with Checkered Cloth series, and a new edition of Autumn Reflections. These are on smaller canvases, attractively priced for gifts or for your own personal indulgence.

In addition, I just finished a commission for a patron who wanted a portrait of her husband, her dogs, and herself. This painting was created using photos of the subjects, painted in a setting of my creation.

Today's work includes a commission from the Abstract Poppies series, and the newest edition in the Still Life with Roses series. My patron requested a larger edition of Poppies based on Abstract Poppies V, which was on a smaller canvas. The previous edition of the still life sold within a couple of days of being listed on my sales venues. Thank you patrons!!

Today's work includes a new cat painting and the newest edition in the Still Life with Roses series. My family and I foster cats and kittens from our local animal shelter. When this cat was adopted the young girl in the family named her "Blinky Cookie."

Still Life with Roses VI

This painting is the most recent in the Still Life with Roses series, which has been very popular with my patrons. As a painter I find that still life paintings are among my most favorite to paint. I have a patron in Austin who has purchased quite a few still life paintings from me, who has filled most of the wall space in her home with my paintings. She told me recently that she's almost out of room, but that she's got some ideas for paintings at her boyfriend's house where there is plenty of wall space to work with.
